 The probability of there being life outside of earth is very high due to there being a vast amount of planets in the universe. I had no reaction to the image of Earth from Mars. When I heard the black hole, I had a disgusted and uneasy feeling when I heard it. This shows me that an individual’s life is very small since this universe very immense and can be precious as well. 

 

 Logos: We could use a free day since we’ve been very diligent and respectful individuals throughout the week. Also if this happens, it’ll be less of a hassle to grade work and having a smaller workload for the students. Pathos: After the hard work we’ve done, we should deserve a break. Ethos: Mr. Reese, due to you having a handful of athletes and other people doing an extracurricular activity that exerts a lot of physical energy, we should deserve a break so we can’t worry about any other things for an event that will happen on Friday.

 Today I’ve learned about a couple things during class. One of them were life learning messages. At the beginning of the last period we were watching a mini film. It was about a woman and social media. But the catch was she quickly became addicted to it and resulted in looking very depressing. Which made me realize that social media can be very draining and make you feel like a lifeless person. Additionally, I’ve also learned about Native American literature. It’s usually made up of a thing called origin myths; which consists of myths, legends and religions. 

 Unpopular opinion: Rap music is absolute garbage and it all sounds the same. I somewhat agree with this opinion. One reason is that the topic of most rap songs is the same. For example, if one usually listens to mainstream rap music, all they would hear them rap about is either violence, drugs, having intercourse with women and/or men, and gang activity. Thus putting it into a category of rap music sounding the same nowadays. Additionally, rappers tend to have the similar rap flow and tracks. Rappers such as Lil baby, Da Baby, and Lil Durk tend to have the same rap flow as each other. It even gets so bad to the point when I can’t even differentiate between them.

 I feel like I could have multiple main purposes but, I would name a few. One of my main purposes is to spread happiness to the world. I feel like making certain people happy can make this world a better place than it is now. Moreover, it can also benefit you if treat great people with respect and could also be reciprocated. Another one I can name is becoming a great musician. I’ve been playing a couple instruments in my life and safely say that I can turn this into a great career.

Yesterday, I’ve learned about a couple things that can be applied to potential life situations. The first thing was effort. Effort is something that can lead one to success; even more than talent and being very intelligent. It can also help with building relationships with your family and significant other. Another thing I’ve learned is using formal and informal language. In a serious/professional situation, one has to use proper grammar and reduce the amount of slang in an event or occasion. However with a non serious situation it tends to be the opposite.

 Hello, my name is Lazaria Leggett. I’m a 16 year-old junior that goes to Cedar Grove High School. Before I moved to Georgia, I was born in Miami, Florida. Some things that I like to do for fun is, play video games, play basketball with friends, and play instruments. What I want to achieve for my academic year is make all A’s and pass my advanced placement tests.
